Ally Sheedy

Alexandra Elizabeth Sheedy, born 13 June 1962 in the United States is an actress. After her debut on film during 1983's Bad Boys she became known as one of the Brat Pack group of actors. She also appeared in WarGames (1983) The Breakfast Club (1985) and Short Circuit (1986). The performance of Sheedy in Lisa Cholodenko's High Art (2000) won her the Independent Spirit Award, Best Female Actor. Ally Sheedy is an American actor and author. She began her film career by appearing in the crime-drama movie Bad Boys in the early 1980s for which she was quite appreciated. Rick Rosenthal was the director of this film, where other actors were also prominent such as Sean Penn Esai Morales Clancy Brown Alan Ruck. In 1985, following her successful debut in a movie that she appeared in, the actress acted as a character in The Breakfast Club - a comedy/drama. John Hughes's film The Breakfast Club has been hailed as being among the most memorable films of high school cinema. The film was made for just $1,000,000, but the film made more than $50 million. In the meantime she started appearing on TV in various shows such as CBS Schoolbreak. It was her first television appearance. The show was for teens and first aired in April of 1980. Chicago Story Big City Samuels and the Kid, Hill Street Blues and Chicago Story are some of the other series in which she's appeared. Her most recent performances is Little Sister. Another one, X-Men Apocalypse a story about a female superhero where she has a cameo. Sheedy has been awarded numerous times for her stellar performances including the MTV Movie Award Silver Bucket of Excellence Award.
