Annie Mist Thorisdottir hails from Iceland's Reykjavik. She is a CrossFit pro-athlete. She coaches and trains at Crossfit Reykjavik, where she is also co-owner. Annie is the only woman to ever win twice in CrossFit Games. She was second in both the both the 2010 and the 2014 CrossFit Games. With the guidance of Jami Tikkanen, Annie finished 2nd in CrossFit Games and was awarded a Silver medal that same year. The following year, she participated again in CrossFit competitions and due to her outstanding performance she was able to win the contest becoming the first woman to win CrossFit Games. Annie was again victorious at in the CrossFit Games in 2012 due to her outstanding performance. She became the first female athlete to be crowned the winner of twice in CrossFit Games at once. She also received a medal of silver in 2014 and an award of bronze at the CrossFit Games in 2021. Annie trains and coaches at Crossfit Reykjavik. It was the idea of her.
